My approach to relaxation massage is a simple and warm invitation to “come in and check out.” Lay down on my table, open your senses, and let go.
I use long, gliding strokes that gently tease out tension and stress to be washed away on the rising tide of your well-being. In such a deeply relaxed state of mind and body, the weight of the world doesn’t have a chance—it looses its grip and slides away.
Wow. What’s happening? The nerve endings in your skin respond to my gentle, sliding strokes by firing off messages to the brain to release endorphins—that cocktail of feel good chemicals. Your body’s parasympathetic nervous system—the “rest and digest” system—responds by decreasing blood pressure, slowing the heart rate and actually improving the efficiency of your blood circulation.
You can quicken and deepen your relaxation response by simply turning loose. Release the desire to talk, or to actively solve some problem, to make plans for what’s next and how you’re going to deal with it. There is no next, just now. Focus on your breathing, or on the movements of my hands, and let the magic happen.
Massage is an extremely effective stress management tool, and frankly, I’m very good at it. I attribute that to two things: a passion for my work and expertise in several therapeutic massage modalities.

It begins with a consultation. It’s of the upmost importance that I understand your needs so as to determine the best approach to treatment. I will ask you to complete a health history.

ARRIVAL: For our initial visit, please arrive at least ten minutes early to complete the health history paperwork. My studio is located inside Riverside Salon & Day Spa. 7683 W Riverside Dr, Garden City, ID.
DRESS: Come dressed in loose, comfortable clothing.
